Backlash wins erotic award for campaigning
Demolition Red attended the 13th erotic-awrds on September to accept the award for campaigner of year 2006 on behalf of Backlash.
Backlash was set up last August to oppose government proposals to make it a criminal offence to look at images of so-called violent porn.
Despite its own admission there is no evidence that porn causes crime the government appears deternmined to push ahead with plans.
But Backlash will fight on and Demolition Red is confident she has the backing of the general public.
"It isn't just columnists in the major broadsheets, leading lawyers and psychologists that see this is an unjustifed on our civil liberties."
"The audiences of Radio 1, BBC News, Sky News on newspaper blogs on a Channel 4 poll on violent porn are all showing their opposition too."
